  • Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following/given requirements to be considered:
  • To apply, you must be a resident or international student.
  • Have an unconditional offer of admission to the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Medicine and Health to pursue a PhD full-time. (It’s worth noting that admissions can be submitted for at the same time as the scholarship.)
  • Be willing to conduct research in any of the following areas to enhance outcomes for people with laryngeal and vocal disorders:
  • a better understanding of physiological regulation
  • Measures that are sensitive and specialized should be identified.
  • artificial intelligence for early detection
  • easier access to specialist evaluation and treatment, or
  • enhance patient outcomes by developing therapeutic paths
  • Enroll in a research project in one of the DLVP’s study topics, as indicated above, and be supervised by a member of the Doctor Liang Voice Program’s academic team.
  • You must have a first-class honours degree or a four-year degree with a proven track record of professional and research accomplishments since graduation.
