  • Undergraduate or postgraduate studies in College of Engineering Science and Environment, Health Medicine and Wellbeing, Human and Social Futures are all eligible.
  • Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:
  • Hold a passport from one of Africa’s 54 countries.
  • Start an appropriate undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program at the University (excluding ELICOS, Enabling, Non-Award, and Higher Degrees by Research programs and programs delivered at offshore campuses).
  • Be a full-fee paying international student.
  • As stated in your Letter of Offer, you must begin a qualified program at an Australian or online campus.
  • You may not receive a separate University scholarship unless you have received previous clearance for a specific dispensation.
  • Meet all of an overseas student’s financial requirements as a full-fee paying student.
How to Apply
  • Students must be admitted to the University in order to apply for this grant. When you apply to a university, you will be automatically considered for scholarships.
  • Academic Transcripts from All Previous Schools: Applicants must submit academic transcripts from all previous schools they attended. Before beginning the online application process, please have all required papers ready to upload as PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, or JPG files.
  • Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with satisfactory grades to be considered for admission.
  • Language Requirement: Students must meet the language requirements of the university.

The scholarship is worth AU$10,000 per year of study under a full-time study load, divided by the number of courses taken, amounting to $1250 per course.
